The South Hunsley Exam News publication for 2010 is now available.

We've done it again!

Four students who will be starting Y7 at South Hunsley in September are participating in the Lifestyle Challenge 2010 supported by Humberside police.

I am writing to confirm the arrangements for the school's celebration of Jonny Hewitt's precious, but sadly short, life.

South Hunsley Sports and PTA proudly present a Festival of Fun.

South Hunsley is operating as usual today and lessons will run until 3.35pm. As we are a school of 2,000 students and exams are taking place, we do not have the communal facilities to allow all students to watch the match. We felt it would be unfair to give a selection of students the opportunity to watch the game and not others, therefore, we have not made special provision. We will review this decision should England qualify for the final stages and when the exam halls are free.

 

Please note the Twilight Bus Service will not operate on a Monday or a Thursday from Monday 28 June 2010 until Monday 13 September 2010 due to low numbers accessing the service once exams have finished.

The Parents' Meeting will be held on Tuesday April 20 in K50 at 6pm. This meeting is for parents/carers only; pupils will have their own meetings in school time. Important information and forms for completion will be given out at the meeting.

Following a number of enquiries about school trips and visits and parents' concerns about the expense and not being able to plan in advance, especially when there are several siblings, we have compiled a list for the next year and even beyond.
